Virtual Boy was more a predecessor to 3DS than VR. I still see people make comments like “VR has always failed, remember Virtual Boy?” as if that has any relevance to modern VR. Most of the tech we have today you could go back 20 years and say “never gonna happen”. Just because something has failed in the past doesn’t mean there will never be a successful version.
